We are pleased to announce that Qattro were awarded not one, but TWO awards at the Housing Industry Association (HIA) Awards night this month.

We took out the Townhouse/Villa Development >10 Dwellings and the Apartment Complex of the year, the latter of which will now progress to National Judging.

Qattro are thrilled to be recognised in these categories, by the HIA, for quality and construction excellence.

We would like to acknowledge the Clients, Suppliers, Contractors and our own staff who helped make these awards possible in 2020.

With 135 people in attendance it was our most successful service provider event to date and the feedback has been terrific.

Not only did the event provide a chance for the Qattro staff to personally thank our wonderful trades, Brad was also able to present 10 year service recognition awards to a number of companies who have been with Qattro from the beginning.

Jimmy has been a part of the AFL system for the past 6 years, playing at Melbourne Football Club and then moving back to his home state to represent Port Adelaide. Throughout his time at Port Adelaide, Jimmy spent his weekly structured day off with Qattro learning how the company operates and gaining an understanding of the industry. 12 months after his AFL career has ended, Jimmy has wound up on Qattro’s doorstep taking on the role of New Home Executive. Jimmy’s dog Benji takes up a lot of his downtime, and he can be found on most days along the coast where he lives in Henley Beach with Benji frolicking in the water. Jimmy continues to play football for his SANFL team Woodville West Torrens, and spending time with his loved ones is a part of Jimmy’s DNA.

He discussed different types of building materials and why they are used with the students. They worked with building plans to identify different materials and objects and then designed their own buildings out of Lego.

The interactive presentation was well received by the young students and their teachers. Fingers cross Darryl has inspired some budding Engineers, Estimators and Supervisors for our industry.
